Holly Hunter, an American actor and producer, is well-known for her stellar performances in movies like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano has won several awards for her which included an Oscar. Her acting career started in Broadway with a variety of Broadway as well as Off Broadway initiatives. Being an actor has always been a passion. In fifth grade, she portrayed Helen Keller. She became deaf in one ear following a bout of mellitus, but didn't have this limitation deter her determination to become an actress. She studied theater in college after which she moved from the Midwest to New York City in pursuit of her dreams.
